Cafexporto is a family-operated specialty green-coffee exporter in southern Ecuador. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: philip@cafexporto.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us:
- Sample-request form: your name, work email, company or roastery, role, country, shipping address, the lots you selected, your target volume, and any message you write.
- Newsletter form: your email address.
- Email: anything you include when you write to us directly.
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site (for example, which pages are viewed and how many sample requests are started). We do not run advertising trackers and do not build advertising profiles of you.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, send samples and quotes, and arrange shipping.
- To manage our ongoing relationship as a buyer or contact.
- To send harvest letters and lot updates, but only if you subscribed (you can leave any time).
We manage these communications in a customer-relationship system (HubSpot). We do not use your information for any purpose you would not reasonably expect from a coffee supplier.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate, such as our CRM provider (HubSpot) and the shipping carriers that deliver your samples, and only as much as each needs to do its job. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, or by writing to us.
- Ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.

How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we have an active relationship with you or your company, and as long as we need it to meet legal and accounting obligations. After that we delete or anonymize it.
Cookies
This site uses the minimal storage needed to load pages and remember the lots you select while you browse, plus Google Analytics cookies that measure site usage in aggregate. It sets no advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date above.
